  Beach FC Soccer Tournament Beach FC is a respected soccer club in the Hampton Roads area.  Their dedication and commitment to shaping the future of our youth, demonstrates their value to our community.  On Saturday, March 19 they kicked off their 2022 season with an annual Soccer Tournament.  More than 200 teams from all over Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina gathered at the Hampton Roads Sports Complex to compete.  As a longtime partner, Patient First was excited to join them and witness the excitement.

  30th Annual North American Sand Soccer Championships

  As the saying goes, "Virginia is for Lovers"-or, in this case, sports lovers- as thousands flocked to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront the weekend of June 7-9 for the 30th Annual North American Sand Soccer Championships. The event, which spanned over 30 blocks, drew more than 800 teams worldwide from Central and South America, Europe, Canada, and all over the United States! Nearly 100,000 attendees spanned across the two miles of beachfront throughout the three-day event. Patient First has participated in this event for several years now. This year, we were located just on the other side of the main stage, so we saw many of the attendees pass through. Our blood pressure screenings, Band-Aids, and hand sanitizer were particularly popular. Throughout the weekend, we heard numerous stories from those familiar with our centers both locally and from afar. Many indicated it was nice to see a familiar face on hand, especially in the event if services were needed.   North American Sand Soccer Championships

  The North American Sand Soccer Championships kicked off their 2022 tournament on Friday June 10th.  This three day event at the Virginia Beach oceanfront was loaded with high levels of intensity and excitement.  720 teams came together to compete in the nation’s largest event of its kind.  Thousands of people traveled from near and far to join in and witness the action. The Patient First team was proud to support the North American Sand Soccer Championships as they continue to do great things for our community. It is with great pride that we congratulate all participants who competed this past weekend on a job well done!

  Patient First Gets Funky at the 15th Annual Virginia Beach Funk Fest

  During the weekend of August 23rd and 24th, music filled the air at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront for two full days of music, food, and funk during the 15th Annual Virginia Beach Funk Fest Party. Rooted in R&B, jazz, gospel, and blues, thousands gathered from near and far to hear the likes of WAR, Doug E. Fresh, the SOS Band, and others reverberating off the shoreline and in between the hotels that line the boardwalk of the resort city. It was the perfect sendoff party to summer, and Patient First was there with a front row seat to all the action! A participant for a few years now, Patient First was once again back to offer free blood pressure screenings to festival goers and other passersby along the boardwalk. We completed well over 200 blood pressure checks in the two days we were at the event! Our giveaway items were big hits as well.   Sand Soccer Takes Over The Oceanfront

  It was a great weekend in Virginia Beach as the North American Sand Soccer Championship returned to the oceanfront. Over 10,000 participants from all over the world took to the sands to compete in a riveting series of match-ups.  From youth leagues to amateur leagues and pros, this 3 day, highly anticipated event was loaded with talent and a projected attendance of more than 150,000!  As a strong supporter of healthy living and active lifestyles, Patient First was proud to sponsor this tournament.  Our on-site presence gave us the opportunity to engage with many festival goers and also provide free blood pressure checks.  In an effort to continue to keep our communities safe and healthy, it's always great to know that care is available at Patient First.  Patient First would like to congratulate all the athletes on a job well done.  It takes grit and tenacity to compete in front of large crowds and every participant displayed that.  Some  people only dream about goals, while others make them, and that is the thrill of the game!  We look forward to seeing ...

  Virginia Beach Funk Festival

  Beach Events kicked off their annual Funk Festival at the Virginia Beach oceanfront on 24th Street. For 12 years, this exciting festival has brought people together for a weekend of music and fun. We know the saying that music is medicine for the soul. Inspired by several genres of music, funk's rhythmic pattern makes dancing hard to resist. People lined the boardwalk, grooving to music while stopping by the Patient First tent to collect free promotional items. With good weather and good vibes, Patient First was happy to participate in this electrifying event. We had a great time, and look forward to seeing you all next year!
