  Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem’s Christkindlmarkt was launched in 1993 and has become a popular holiday destination drawing more than one million visitors over the past 25+ years.  It is a one-of-a-kind family event that celebrates the spirit of the season, and was twice recognized as one of the best holiday markets in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure.  This year, the event experienced something new. Us! Patient First was able to participate for the first time during “Opening Weekend” as a day vendor, and it was great fun. The event began on Friday, November 19 and runs every weekend until December 19, 2021. Although we were there for just a day, we joined more than 100 other vendors who will be on site for the run of the event. For us, it was a day well spent. We heard from folks who had great experiences at our Patient First locations throughout the Lehigh Valley and all over Pennsylvania.   Bethlehem's Christkindlmarkt 2023

  We love being part of Bethlehem's Christkindlmarkt each year, and every year it seems to get bigger and better, if that is even possible. We were on site on Saturday, November 18 for Opening Weekend and the kickoff of the event's 31st anniversary. The staff who puts this enormous event together is second to none, and it is always a pleasure to work with them. A host of volunteers are on site to ensure everyone has an amazing experience. Although temperatures are chilly this time of year, we don't mind, since we always enjoy a steady flow of foot traffic while we are there from morning until night. This year we had many great conversations with folks who have visited our Lehigh Valley centers, plus others throughout eastern Pennsylvania, central Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.   30th Anniversary Christkindlmarkt Kicks Off In Bethlehem, PA

  This year marked our second year of participation in Bethlehem's Christkindlmarkt, and once again it did not disappoint. We were there for Opening Weekend for a full day of fun from morning until evening, and although temperatures didn't rise above mid 20-degrees during the day, it was well worth every hour we were on site. We had a blast and although it was chilly outside, our enthusiasm and the crowd's enthusiasm never chilled. The event runs weekends through December 18, 2022. We enjoyed a fantastic outdoor location near huge tents that showcased traditional artisans and vendors, food, St. Nicholas and even a German ornament manufacturer. It was so exciting for us to be part of an event that is embedded in the Lehigh Valley, and named one of the top holiday markets in the world by Travel + Leisure, and one of the top holiday markets in North America in USA TODAY'S 10 Best Readers' Choice competition, as well as OprahDaily.com.   Bethlehem's Hanover Township Community Center Kicks Off 2023 Holiday Season

  We love participating at events at Bethlehem's Hanover Township Community Center, since it is located literally right down the street from our Bethlehem center. Once again we were invited to join their annual tree lighting and holiday event, and we were delighted to return. Mother Nature was not kind on event day, and brought us rainy conditions all day. Event organizers successfully pivoted, however, and brought most of the event indoors. We didn't complain since it allowed us to stay toasty warm inside and not be outdoors in the cold, wet weather.  Each year this free event attracts hundreds of folks from the neighborhood and beyond, and this year was no exception. The lobby of the Community Center was packed full of people  before the event even began. This year participants enjoyed so many fun, family-friendly activities, including cookie decorating, an ice carving demonstration, an indoor snowball battle, and event photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.   It Was An "Itty Bitty Hat Parade" At The Devon Horse Show

  The Devon Horse Show has been held in late May through early June in Devon, PA since 1896. It is both the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse competition in the United States. It is also directly across the street from Patient First's Devon center location. Since we opened our Devon location several years back, we have had a great relationship with the Horse Show organizers and staff, which we have appreciated so much. It is great to be a part of such a prestigious organization, and once again, we were the presenting sponsor for the "Itty Bitty Hat Parade" on the final day of the show, which was also Children's Day. At the event, children decorate hats as a crafting activity, and then they participate in a parade around the fairgrounds. It is such a fun and adorable event, and it has been organized by the same delightful lady and her daughter since we first came on board.   Lehigh Valley's Musikfest Event Never Disappoints

  Musikfest is the largest annual event in the Lehigh Valley, and once again we were able to be part of the fun! This 10-day August event is the country's largest free music festival, and it generally draws more than 1 million people to Bethlehem, PA annually. Locals love this event because it provides 10 days of great music, with enough variety to appeal to everybody; and, it also provides a huge economic impact to the city and the entire Lehigh Valley area since it attracts people from all over Pennsylvania, many of our nearby states and others from near and far. We opened the event on the first day this year - preview day - and it drew nearly 7,000 ticketed guests for the evening's headliner performance. Although we are only there for a single, day, organizers always go above and beyond to be accommodating and welcoming to us, and this year was no different.
