  Bethlehem's Hanover Township Community Center Kicks Off 2023 Holiday Season

  We love participating at events at Bethlehem's Hanover Township Community Center, since it is located literally right down the street from our Bethlehem center. Once again we were invited to join their annual tree lighting and holiday event, and we were delighted to return. Mother Nature was not kind on event day, and brought us rainy conditions all day. Event organizers successfully pivoted, however, and brought most of the event indoors. We didn't complain since it allowed us to stay toasty warm inside and not be outdoors in the cold, wet weather.  Each year this free event attracts hundreds of folks from the neighborhood and beyond, and this year was no exception. The lobby of the Community Center was packed full of people  before the event even began. This year participants enjoyed so many fun, family-friendly activities, including cookie decorating, an ice carving demonstration, an indoor snowball battle, and event photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.   Inclement Weather Didn't Dampen Spirits At Bethlehem's 2023 Celtic Classic

  Mother Nature may not have been kind to the 2023 Celtic Classic event in Bethlehem, PA, but that surely didn't dampen our spirits, or the spirits of the world-class athletes who competed in the event, nor those of their families and friends, and attendees from all over the Lehigh Valley and beyond. Much to our delight, after all of the competitions concluded, several of the athletes came out into the crowd for food and beverage, and even a visit to our Patient First tent. We enjoyed great conversations with them, and even provided free blood pressure checks to those who were interested. It was such fun to meet and chat with these athletes in person. They were such fun, and so conversational with us! It was also great fun to see men, women and children of all ages in their kilts in keeping with the theme of the event and the Celtic cultural heritage.   30th Anniversary Christkindlmarkt Kicks Off In Bethlehem, PA

  This year marked our second year of participation in Bethlehem's Christkindlmarkt, and once again it did not disappoint. We were there for Opening Weekend for a full day of fun from morning until evening, and although temperatures didn't rise above mid 20-degrees during the day, it was well worth every hour we were on site. We had a blast and although it was chilly outside, our enthusiasm and the crowd's enthusiasm never chilled. The event runs weekends through December 18, 2022. We enjoyed a fantastic outdoor location near huge tents that showcased traditional artisans and vendors, food, St. Nicholas and even a German ornament manufacturer. It was so exciting for us to be part of an event that is embedded in the Lehigh Valley, and named one of the top holiday markets in the world by Travel + Leisure, and one of the top holiday markets in North America in USA TODAY'S 10 Best Readers' Choice competition, as well as OprahDaily.com.   Christkindlmarkt

  Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem’s Christkindlmarkt was launched in 1993 and has become a popular holiday destination drawing more than one million visitors over the past 25+ years.  It is a one-of-a-kind family event that celebrates the spirit of the season, and was twice recognized as one of the best holiday markets in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure.  This year, the event experienced something new. Us! Patient First was able to participate for the first time during “Opening Weekend” as a day vendor, and it was great fun. The event began on Friday, November 19 and runs every weekend until December 19, 2021. Although we were there for just a day, we joined more than 100 other vendors who will be on site for the run of the event. For us, it was a day well spent. We heard from folks who had great experiences at our Patient First locations throughout the Lehigh Valley and all over Pennsylvania.   Maryland Seafood Festival 2023

  The 2023 Maryland Seafood Festival came a little earlier this year than in years past, and at a different location. What remained the same though, was the fun, the food, and the festive atmosphere that have kept crowds coming for 57 years! This year, the festival moved from its traditional location, and came to City Dock in Annapolis, just a stone's throw from the Naval Academy and the State House. Crowds were literally lining up at the gate, which was directly in front of the Patient First tent bringing each and every one of the thousands of ticket holders past our booth. We had scores of great conversations with people from all over the Delmarva region, who thanked us for the service we provided them, and loved how clean and organized the centers were. We also had quite a few people from western Maryland, the eastern shore, North Carolina and New York, who while unfamiliar with what we do, were very interested in having us expand into their hometowns.   Hanover Tomato Festival 2023

  It was a great celebration of Hanover's favorite fruit, as the community gathered together for the annual Hanover Tomato Festival 2023.  Over 12,000 pounds of juicy, ripe tomatoes were packaged and delivered to Pole Green Park for the two day, event filled weekend.  Festival goers were able to purchase tomatoes by the bag or by the box.  From signature tomato-themed dishes to tomato incorporated games, it was apparent that these were certainly a crowd favorite.  With nearly 150 vendors in attendance, a kid zone, a live band, and a DJ, there was definitely something for everyone. Patient First was excited to join this beloved festival that has been a long time tradition for so many local families.  Many patrons stopped by our tent to get their free blood pressure checks, along with some Patient First swag.  We were happy to share some fun facts on the health benefits of tomatoes with the community.  Not only does this juicy fruit taste great, but its also good for you!
