Minor League Baseball Partnerships

Patient First partners with local Minor League Baseball teams to provide first aid services to baseball fans during the 2021 baseball season.

Patient First nurses provide first aid at all Norfolk Tides, Richmond Flying Squirrels, and Bowie Baysox home games. If you require first aid, please top by the first aid station at any of the ball parks.  Or, notify a ballpark official and we will be happy to come to you.

Patient First and Minor League Baseball make a great team.

Patient First is proud to support local youth athletic organizations that encourage healthy and active lifestyles.

We partner with youth and school sports organizations engaging in a variety of sports:  baseball, basketball, football, soccer, swimming, and more. In 2021, Patient First is partnering with over 60 individual sports leagues across the Mid-Atlantic, impacting the lives of thousands of children.

Community Day

Patient First Community Day

Each year at select Patient First Centers, we host a Community Day event that is fun, free, and open to the public. Activities include a bounce house, face painting, balloon animals, shaved ice, and more!

Patient First Community Days give our neighbors an opportunity to visit our center for some family-friendly fun, and to meet and engage with the Patient First staff.   For kids, it helps make going to see the doctor a little less intimidating and a lot more fun!

In addition to a bounce house and face painting, there are lawn games with prizes for all, like yo-yos and balsa wood airplanes.

When possible, a local fire truck and/or ambulance is on hand, giving children a chance to tour the vehicles and to meet and greet with our community’s first responders.

Patient First Community Days are hosted at our centers in Manassas, Virginia; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; and Delran, New Jersey.  It is at these centers where we have sufficient space outside to host Community Day events.

Keep an eye on our website announcements and social media channels to learn when the next Community Day will take place.  We can’t wait to see you there!
