  Fun times at Whitehall Heritage Festival

  The Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce and Whitehall Township teamed up to host the Whitehall Heritage Festival, and Patient First was part of the fun. The day celebrated the extensive heritage and history of the Whitehall area, not far from Patient First locations in Allentown and Bethlehem, PA. Although the temperatures were in the mid to upper 90’s all day with extreme humidity, it was a fun event. In addition to all the family fun available, the event also brought people out to take a look at improvements made to the Grist Mill and Peter Grim property and highlight the new greenways and pathways in the park areas. Live entertainment and food trucks were available all day, too, and more than 50 vendors participated. A fun added feature to the event included Civil War and Revolutionary War Reenactments and Living History regiments. We are already looking forward to the return of this event next year!

  EGGS-traordinary Fun at Maymont Park's Dominion Energy Family Easter Event

  This past Saturday brought the return of sunnier skies, warmer temperatures, and Easter activities, signaling Spring is in the air, and here to stay. Egg-cited guests of all ages came by the thousands to enjoy the annual Dominion Energy Family Easter Event at Maymont Park. This event, which has grown by leaps and bounds from year-to-year, was spread out between the Carriage House Lawn to the Robins Nature Center, to Maymont Farm. With over 100 acres to eggs-plore, guests could be seen enjoying fun activities and hands-on crafts throughout the park. They also enjoyed tempting treats from local food vendors as they listened to live entertainment supplied on three different stages. Younger guests were able to win prize-filled eggs in a Golden Egg Hunt, solving riddles along the way to find the locations of where the golden eggs were hidden.   49th Annual Woodbury Relays Attract 4000 People in South Jersey

  The 2023 edition of the Woodbury Relays marked its 49th anniversary this year, and Patient First was part of the big day as an event sponsor. We have supported this fun, high profile event in the past, but things felt much bigger this year. More than 4,000 athletes from across New Jersey gathered, along with their families and friends, at Woodbury's Junior-Senior High School on April 22, 2023 for this year's event. Runners in South Jersey are always excited about the Relays event each year; and organizers have it running flawlessly, with lots of activity from start to finish. It has become the highlight of nearly every South Jersey runner's program schedule, since it is one of the most historic track meets in the tri-state area. It's a big deal; gold watches are even awarded to the winners! We enjoyed being on site for this event, where we offered free blood pressure checks, and talked about our services with those who stopped by our tent.   Bowie Baysox Family Fun Fest 2024

  While we're on the cusp of the return of the Boys of Summer at Prince George's Stadium, the weekend's weather wasn't exactly summer-like for the return of the Bowie Baysox Family Fun Fest. The event, which is a family-friendly day at the ballpark, and a warm up to the Baysox 2024 season is one in which we've participated for a number of years, as part of our long partnership with the Orioles' minor league affiliate. Our table was positioned at the center of the concourse, directly in front of the First Aid station, which we staff for every Baysox home game. We saw a lot of welcoming familiar faces from the Baysox staff, as well as the fans and season ticket holders who come out to support this event. Unfortunately, the weather was not as supportive, with a cold, steady rain and chilling winds lasting through most of the day.   Fun Times At Allentown's Mayfair Festival Of The Arts

  Mayfair Festival of the Arts has been held in Allentown, PA for more than 30 years, but this was Patient First's first appearance at this big Lehigh Valley event. We are sure glad we joined the Friday night opening festivities for this multi-day Memorial Day weekend event this year! It was held on the beautiful Cedar Crest College campus, which is a nationally registered arboretum with more than 150 kinds of trees. Allentown's West End was filled with fun, funky music and international food and what made our experience there even more fun was the proximity of the college to our Allentown center -- almost walking distance! We couldn't have asked for better weather for opening night to kick off the event and the holiday weekend. There were all kinds of fun, family-friendly activities staged all over the campus for people of all ages to enjoy. Food trucks, craft vendors, artists, and two stages for music and live performances were among the highlights of the event.   Fun Times At Allentown's Irish Cultural Community Day

  We "got our Irish on" during Allentown's annual Irish Cultural Community Day event, presented by the Allentown St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee, Inc. Patient First has participated in this event many times over the years, and it has always attracted a great crowd, with lots of fun and spirited families, organizers and folks from all over the Lehigh Valley and beyond. This year was no exception. There were plenty of activities for families and children to enjoy all day. The crowd for Community Day was enormous this year, and part of three days of Irish-related fun, including a Friday evening event, as well as the 64th Annual St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday. The return of our complimentary blood pressure checks was well received, and we were delighted to provide many during this event. We are always so happy to work with this great group of organizers who always put together a well-run and well-attended event. We were stationed at a perfect location, too, which gave us a great interaction and many conversations with event participants. We also got to enjoy the very talented ...
