  Lehigh Valley Hot Air Balloon Festival Was "Spooktacular"

  It was a "Spooktacular" weekend for a Hot Air Balloon Festival.  This event has been billed the largest fall laser lit hot air balloon, music and glow festival in North America. It has become a premiere family entertainment attraction in Pennsylvania, specifically the Lehigh Valley. We were so excited to be able to participate in this event for the first time, and hope we will be able to return in 2024. It was great fun to meet and greet so many nice people from near and far. The event drew an enormous crowd - on Saturday, in particular, when the weather was most favorable. People came from all over Pennsylvania from Western and Central PA, to Northeastern PA and the Philadelphia area and its suburbs, and many locations in between. We also had many out of state visitors to our tent, many who have had visits to Patient First in New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia.   2023 Lancaster Hot Air Balloon Festival

  One of the most visually dazzling events of this region's event season returned over the weekend in the form of the Lancaster Hot Air Balloon Festival. Held on an expansive field in Bird-In Hand, PA, this 4-day event typically draws crowds by the busloads from as far north as Wisconsin, to as far south as Alabama. As a long-time sponsor of this event, our Patient First tent was placed in a prime position-- right at the edge of the vendor fair, as crowds exited and entered the field to witness the nightly balloon glow event, and scheduled balloon ascensions. We also sponsored the festival's corn maze, as well as one of the balloons launched daily. Sadly, the evening winds were just a tad too strong to allow for an evening ascension, but the morning ascensions did go off as planned. In addition to a wide variety of food, games, live entertainment that included bands, magicians, and character shows, this year's festival offered a new feature-- helicopter rides!   Chesapeake Bay Hot Air Balloon Festival

  Thousands of people were looking to the skies in the fields of Delta, Pennsylvania this weekend. It wasn't because of some crop circle phenomena, but because of the Chesapeake Bay Hot Air Balloon Festival. Typically held on Maryland's eastern shore, this year the event was scheduled to be held in Bel Air, Maryland. Just 11 days before the event however, that location was no longer deemed viable by the Harford County Government. So, like any baloon pilot knows, an alternate landing site had to be found, and found fast. Fortunately, the Mason-Dixon Fairgrounds just a dozen miles to the north provided a safe haven for this year's event. Despite the sudden change of venue, tens of thousands turned out for this weekend long event. The vendor fair played host to our table and tent, where people from both PA and MD came by to collect our giveaway items, and tells us how much the appreciated the work our staff does, and the professionalism with which they do it.   Lancaster Hot Air Balloon Festival 2022

  They came by the literal busloads; more than 40,000 travelers, from as far away as upstate New York and North Carolina, all to the small Amish township of Bird-In-Hand, PA from September 16th through the 18th, all to take part in the Lancaster Hot Air Balloon Festival. This was our second year participating in this three-day event, and the weather could not have been more idyllic for both an outdoor festival, and for ballooning. In addition to the variety of food, music and performers ranging from street magicians to appearances from Disney Princesses and heroes from the Marvel and DC universes, the highlight of each day was the ascension of over 40 hot air balloons in both the morning and evening. In addition to our tent, which put us in contact with customers from New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, as well as Pennsylvania, we sponsored the festival's corn maze, and our sign was featured on one of the balloons that went up.   Lehigh Valley's Musikfest Event Never Disappoints

  Musikfest is the largest annual event in the Lehigh Valley, and once again we were able to be part of the fun! This 10-day August event is the country's largest free music festival, and it generally draws more than 1 million people to Bethlehem, PA annually. Locals love this event because it provides 10 days of great music, with enough variety to appeal to everybody; and, it also provides a huge economic impact to the city and the entire Lehigh Valley area since it attracts people from all over Pennsylvania, many of our nearby states and others from near and far. We opened the event on the first day this year - preview day - and it drew nearly 7,000 ticketed guests for the evening's headliner performance. Although we are only there for a single, day, organizers always go above and beyond to be accommodating and welcoming to us, and this year was no different.   PEEPs Helps To Welcome In The New Year In Lehigh Valley

  As 2023 drew to a close, we were happy to return to Bethlehem, PA to join in the fun of the annual PEEPsFest event there. This two-day New Year's eve festival provided lots of fun things for families and children to enjoy all day prior to the event culmination -- the PEEPs "Chick Drop." We were especially happy the event was "hybrid" this year, offering so much activity both indoors and outdoors. Both locations were packed full of people, all out to have a fun time.  Just Born Quality Confections of Bethlehem partnered with the ArtsQuest organization at SteelStacks to once again bring this blockbuster event to the Lehigh Valley. This year both days were sold out, which indicates how popular it has become over the years, drawing some 3,000 participants each day. We have enjoyed participating in this event several times over the years, and were sad when it was paused, and then was held exclusively outdoors during the pandemic. Things returned to normal this year, and there's no doubt it became the largest attended event in its history.  It was such a good feeling ...
