  The Great Allentown Fair Never Disappoints

  The Great Allentown Fair celebrated its 171st anniversary at the Allentown Fairgrounds this year, and Patient First was part of the fun as a sponsor. The Fairgrounds location is very close to our Allentown center, and it has a big draw from throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond each year. We were delighted to hear so many positive comments about patient experiences in our Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and Wyomissing centers, as well as from folks who visited from even farther away including Central Pennsylvania, South Jersey and Maryland. This event never disappoints. The Fair has been a Labor Day weekend tradition, and it always has a little something for everyone to enjoy, from livestock to amusement rides, concerts, games, contests, food and so much more. We love returning to this event each year as a sponsor, and we are especially happy that Mother Nature gave us perfect weather for our participation in this year's event as she did in 2021.   Fun Times At Allentown's Mayfair Festival Of The Arts

  Mayfair Festival of the Arts has been held in Allentown, PA for more than 30 years, but this was Patient First's first appearance at this big Lehigh Valley event. We are sure glad we joined the Friday night opening festivities for this multi-day Memorial Day weekend event this year! It was held on the beautiful Cedar Crest College campus, which is a nationally registered arboretum with more than 150 kinds of trees. Allentown's West End was filled with fun, funky music and international food and what made our experience there even more fun was the proximity of the college to our Allentown center -- almost walking distance! We couldn't have asked for better weather for opening night to kick off the event and the holiday weekend. There were all kinds of fun, family-friendly activities staged all over the campus for people of all ages to enjoy. Food trucks, craft vendors, artists, and two stages for music and live performances were among the highlights of the event.   MD State Fair 2024

  As summer draws to a close, the tradition of the Maryland State Fair returned to the Timonium Fairgrounds, just a mile and a half from our Towson center. For the third year in a row, Patient First has been a proud sponsor of this end-of-summer event, with our table greeting fairgoers as soon as they passed through the gates! And talk about visibility-- on Saturday, attendance was over 70 thousand, while Sunday saw even more-- nearly 73 thousand people passing through the gates! Over the entire course of the fair, our name and branding was seen by a record breaking 589,380 people! This year, in addition to our branding all over the fair banners, promotional materials, and hand washing stations, we were featured among the proud sponsors of the annual pig races! Our banner was hung Daytona-style along the side of the track, as four piglets sprinted the length of the oval four times a day for a crowd of about 150 people each day of the fair.   Burlington County Farm Fair Provides Fun For All

  The Burlington County Farm Fair in South Jersey has become a legacy event for Patient First, with our participation spanning the years. It was great to be back again this year! The fair's mission is to promote agriculture, social life, and youth, as well as educating the general public by conducting a yearly agricultural fair with exhibits, livestock and farm products. Located on the beautiful Burlington County Fairgrounds in Springfield Township, NJ, the Fair offered a variety of activities to the thousands of visitors that attended. The location of the Fairgrounds is about midway between our Delran and Hamilton Patient First centers, and it draws people from all over New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania. It's a big deal in South Jersey, and we always have fun being there. Historically, Fair Week has been one of the hottest weeks of the year, and Mother Nature didn't disappoint this year, either. Although our day started off sketchy with heavy rains, the storms quickly passed and it ended up being a hot, steamy, but overall fantastic day.   The Maryland State Fair

  It's the unofficial sendoff to  summer, and tens of thousands of people took part in the fun at the Maryland State Fair at the Timonium Fairgrounds the weekend of September 3rd & 4th. This was Patient First's first year participating in this 141 year tradition, and by all accounts it was a resounding success! Positioned right at the mouth of the midway, our Patient First was the first thing to greet the more than 100 thousand  who passed through the turnstiles. Fairgoers loaded their Patient First bags with hand sanitizer, band-aids, hot/cold packs, pens, post-it's, along with wooden planes and yo-yo's for the kids right out of the gate as they began their day. The event attracted patients from as far south as Fairfax, VA, and York, PA to the north. Nearly everyone who stopped by were familiar with both our brand and our services, and had wonderful things to say about our staff.   Allentown St. Patrick’s Day Parade Returns for its 63rd Anniversary Celebration Although the streets of Allentown had been quiet the past two Saint Patrick's Days due to the pandemic, things changed this year. It was exciting to see the return of so many spirited, happy people along the St. Patrick’s Day parade route, and Patient First was thrilled to be a part of the festivities. Folks in Allentown “got their Irish on” during this year’s St. Patrick’s Day parade, and staff from Patient First’s Allentown center joined in the fun. Although the wind was challenging, and the air had more chill than we’d like on parade day, the sun was shining and the spirits were high. Everybody loves a parade, and a little wind and chilly temperatures didn’t dampen the day at all for us or for all who came out to enjoy this great tradition. It was exciting to be a part of the return of one of the Lehigh Valley’s oldest Irish celebrations, now it its 63rd anniversary year. The parade started with a 5K race, and then circled ...
