  Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber Business Expo Events are back! On Monday, April 11th, over 40 local businesses in the Gaithersburg-Germantown area came together for the Expo Connect; a business expo where businesses and individuals from the community can view the full spectrum of Chamber member businesses. The event offered the community an opportunity to network with local businesses, engage with exhibitors, and discover resources for business growth. Two nurses from the local Germantown Patient First center were present. Patient First was excited to attend and looks forward to attending again next year!

  Health First: George Mason University Health and Fitness Expo

  Patient First was delighted to once again be a proud sponsor and vendor at the highly anticipated George Mason University Health and Fitness Expo, taking place on Thursday, March 23. This year's expo was an exciting and engaging event, featuring a wide array of vendors, a cook-off, DJ with music, free smoothies, most importantly, free health screenings. Attendees had the opportunity to receive blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar screenings, as well as HIV testing- all of which are crucial in promoting disease prevention and encouraging a healthier lifestyle. In addition to the screenings, the expo served as a platform for introducing George Mason University faculty, staff, and students to valuable resources within their community that can help them live a healthier life. By showcasing the latest in health and fitness trends, and promoting wellness through interaction and engagement, the George University Health and Fitness Expo underscores Patient First's commitment to helping people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. We look forward to attending the George Mason University Health and Fitness Expo next year!

  Patient First Sponsors Hometown Holidays: A Community Gathering in Rockville, MD

  The City of Rockville held its annual Hometown Holidays: A Community Gathering event on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29, at RedGate Park, near our center in Rockville, MD. About 10,000 people attended this free festival that included two stages of entertainment by local and regional entertainment, with more than 10 performers covering genres from rock and reggae to pop and blues. Patient First was a major sponsor of the event and Kids Stage. The Patient First Stage featured kid-friendly performances, dance, and an animal show. Activities for kids included things like the Sand Dune, Selfie Stations, as well as games like Cornhole, and Connect Four. In addition, the event featured Taste of Rockville, which featured cuisine from local restaurants. The entire event was a great success, and our staff had great engagement and interactions with attendees.

  Judge S. Woods Elementary School Mental Health Expo

  Patient First Supports School's Mental Health Expo Judge S. Woods Elementary School held its inaugural Mental Health Expo on Thursday, May 26th, which is in close proximity to our Landover Hills location. Hundreds of students, parents and teachers came out to participate.. The entire event was a great success with local health organizations coming together and providing health resources. During the event, they had a DJ, blood pressure screenings, Zumba and yoga classes, and other fun engaging health activities. As a proud community partner and supporter of healthy living, Patient First was thrilled to participate in the Expo and their mission to help students and staff with their mental health.

  City of Rockville International Night

  Patient First was thrilled to have sponsored the City of Rockville International Night, a spectacular event that celebrates diversity and promotes cultural understanding. This special occasion brought together people from different backgrounds to experience the beauty of traditional dances, clothing, and foods from around the world. It was an unique opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in a vibrant and diverse community, and learn about different cultures and customs. As a proud sponsor of this event, Patient First was honored to support the City of Rockville's mission of embracing and celebrating people of all cultures, creeds, and colors. We are delighted to be part of a city that values diversity and promotes inclusivity, making Rockville a true cosmopolitan city for which we all can be proud.

  B'More Healthy Expo 2024

  On Saturday, February 10th, Patient First returned to the Baltimore Convention Center for the 2024 B'More Healthy Expo. Created by Baltimore television station Fox45, this event showcases a wide variety of medical services and providers from the area, in all fields of medicine. For many of the city's underserved citizens, this event can be their only interaction with a physician, a dentist, or a clinic for the entire year, and Patient First is proud to be among those involved. In addition to the medical services and information being dispensed, there were also three stages featuring healthy cooking tips, exercise regimens, and cardio-invigorating dance routines. There was also a 14 foot rock wall to challenge the indoor thrill seeker.  This year saw crowds return to their pre-pandemic levels, with an estimated 28 thousand people streaming through the doors of the convention center's great hall. Our table once again was positioned squarely in the middle of the event, directly across from the area featuring the Fox45 news anchors and reporters, ensuring maximum visibility for us.
