  Minor League Baseball First Aid

  Minor League Baseball Partnerships Patient First partners with local Minor League Baseball teams to provide first aid services to baseball fans during the 2021 baseball season.  Patient First nurses provide first aid at all Norfolk Tides, Richmond Flying Squirrels, and Bowie Baysox home games. If you require first aid, please top by the first aid station at any of the ball parks.  Or, notify a ballpark official and we will be happy to come to you. Patient First and Minor League Baseball make a great team.

  Silver Spring Thanksgiving Parade

  Silver Spring Thanksgiving Parade Patient First was excited to participate in the annual Silver Spring Thanksgiving Parade on Saturday, November 20, 2021. This event took place in downtown Silver Spring, MD in Montgomery County and was a 1 mile event. The Silver Spring Thanksgiving was a family-fun event and featured live music, dancers, bands, animals, floats and local elected leaders and organizations. This year’s Patient First float was Christmas themed with Christmas trees, Teddy bear, Christmas present, toy soldiers and drums. Patient First employees were excited to participate and waved to the crowd filled with families that cheered for Patient First.   Wilson Borough's Centennial Celebration

  Wilson Borough's Centennial Celebration What an honor it was for Patient First to be invited to join Wilson Borough’s Centennial Celebration. Wilson Borough, in Easton, PA, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2020. The pandemic paused the celebration, but it returned October 14 – 16, 2021 in a big way, with food, rides, games, and live music and entertainment for the three days! We were able to join the Friday evening festivities. The community responded, and the weather couldn’t have been nicer for an outdoor Fall event. Organized by Borough Mayor Donald Barrett, Jr. and his team, the event was first-rate and very busy with attendance anticipated at more than 5,000 people from Easton and nearby communities. We enjoyed interacting with local folks, many who had been patients at our center near Meuser Park where this event was held. Organizers tell us they hope an annual Fall Festival will continue in future years … and if it does, you can count on seeing Patient First making a return appearance!   Patient First Sponsors Bowie Baysox

  It was a beautiful day with perfect weather for a baseball game on a Friday night in the city of Bowie, Maryland. Hundreds of families gathered on June 17 for a night out for baseball, food and fun at the Prince George’s County Stadium in Bowie, Maryland. Staff from Patient First came out to engage with the public by handing out promotional items and spoke about services that Patient First offers. We even snagged a picture with the Bowie team mascot. Patient First is a proud sponsor of the Bowie Baysox baseball team. As a sponsor, Patient First nurses staff the First Aid station at every home game. Go Bowie Baysox! We look forward to supporting more games this season!

  Making Music In Delran, New Jersey

  "Playing music fills the soul like no other activity, and it provides an incredible and thorough brain workout," says Mr. Jay Dorfman, instrumental music teacher at Delran Intermediate School. "Thanks to a most generous monetary gift from Patient First, we have been able to improve the band experience for our student musicians." Each year Patient First provides select schools near its centers with financial support for innovative and creative programs, projects and activities. This year was no exception. Band is a "co-curricular" activity at Delran Intermediate School, where students receive small group lessons during the school day. The full band rehearses during after-school hours, and presents  concerts in December and May, which are open to the public and free of charge. Patient First has helped aspiring young musicians in Delran through the purchase of instruments to create an awesome band experience. New items include an electric stage piano, 24 ukuleles, various hand percussion items, an electric mallet station, percussion emulator, and much more.   Opening Night with Veterans and the Iron Pigs

  Take me out to the Ball Game is a tune closely associated with baseball, and that is exactly what Patient First recently did for 100 Lehigh Valley area veterans and their families as part of our sponsorship of “Operation Send a Vet” promotion with the Iron Pigs baseball club. Other organizations and businesses joined this promotion on Opening Night of the 2022 season, bringing together 2,500 vets and their families to feel our appreciation of servicemen and servicewomen – whether active duty or retired, in the reserves or national guard. It was such an honor to recognize and thank our veterans in such a public and high profile way. More than 7,000 people came out for the game, despite the rainy weather. We did stay dry for an enjoyable “first pitch” opportunity, and it was a first-of-the-season WIN for the Iron Pigs. So, at the end of the night, everyone was a winner!
