Woodbury Fall Festival
Patient First was a “Gold Sponsor” of the 2021 Woodbury Fall Festival Parade on October 9, and we were represented by a small team of staff from our Woodbury center. Dana Fluck, Jessica Lavigna, Sonja Eliasen and Karen Eubanks proudly carried the Patient First banner, and spread their smiles and positive attitudes along the entire parade route. We have participated in this parade previously, and this year’s start had a bit of a new twist. Things stepped off from the Acme Market parking lot directly across the street from our Woodbury center! We received lots of cheers along the parade route which made us extra happy. We even had a shout out from a young man who thanked us for sponsoring his sports team. It was such a fun event and great to be back in the community. This parade has a long history, and is one of the most popular – perhaps THE most popular event in the Woodbury Community

Woodbury's Fall Festival Parade Celebrates Halloween
We had such a blast at Woodbury's 2023 Fall Festival Parade, and we were well represented by an all-Woodbury staff team walking along the parade route this year. It's always great to be invited back to participate in this amazing community event, where we have been part of the action several times over the years. We have so much fun every year and really enjoy interacting with the huge and very enthusiastic crowd the parade draws each year. This year was no exception. Parade goers enjoyed a beautiful fall evening - albeit a bit chilly and breezy - as they watched the participants strut their stuff down Woodbury's Broad Street. We waved at and greeted so many locals and even out-of-towners who came out for the evening to enjoy the parade. This year's parade was Woodbury's 73rd annual event, and the theme this year was "Halloween." There were many parade entries who adopted this theme to entertain everyone along the parade route. Our team of Woodbury Patient First center staff were so excited to step out of their center to enjoy a brisk evening walk, sharing lots of ...
Fairfax Fall Festival
Fairfax Fall Festival Pumpkin spice, popcorn, and everything nice! Patient First was excited to participate in the 45th annual Fairfax Fall Festival on Saturday, October 9, 2021. This event took place in downtown Fairfax and featured over 400 craft booths and displays. Back by popular demand was the lumberjack show and interactive lumberjack camps for the children. The Fairfax Fall Festival included a business expo and Touch-a-Truck expo that allowed children to see and explore City of Fairfax work vehicles and equipment. There was a children’s stage that featured singers, dancers, magicians, carnival rides and face painting as well!
Woodbury's 72nd Fall Fest Parade is a Huge Success
Woodbury's annual Fall Fest Parade was delayed a week this year due to heavy rain, but the new date brought perfect weather for what is undoubtedly one of the town's largest events. This year's 2022 parade was the 72nd in its history, and it did not disappoint. Staff from our Woodbury center brought their smiles and friendly waves as they carried the Patient First banner along the parade route. The evening event began at the corner of Colonial Avenue and North Broad Street and continued to the corner of Carpenter and South Broad streets, lining the route with happy parade goers every step of the way. Groups that participated in the parade stopped for performances in front of the Gloucester County Stage in front of Woodbury High School. We enjoy being out in the community at events like this, and we are already anticipating what the 2023 event schedule will look like. We always value input from local folks who tip us off on events we can take part in, since interactions like this are so fun! Our schedule fills fast, however, so if you or ...
Towson Fall Festival
Towson Fall Festival We had a great day at the Towson Fall Fest. Cloudy skies and a cool breeze put a hint of Halloween in the air and added to everyone’s spirit. It was a great day filled with people, music and food. Patient First can’t wait for the next celebration in the street. See you again next year.
St Christopher's Fall Festival
Patient First had a fantastic time being part of St Christopher's Fall Festival. We hosted the MASH tent that the students loved. With the help of our amazing staff and some wonderful student volunteers, we were able to ensure that it was an enjoyable experience for all. Everyone jumped in and rolled up their sleeves to help out as we steadily wrapped fake injuries with gauze and garnished them with fake blood. It was fun to hear the children's creative minds tell the stories of how the imaginary injuries were sustained. In addition to our tent, there were lots of games, several bounce houses, food trucks and activities in which the students could participate. There was also a DJ on site that kept the atmosphere lively, coupled with an unseasonably warm day, making the event an overall success. Patient First was thrilled to be part of this event and contribute to the community. We look forward to future opportunities to bring the fun and excitement!
Nuckols Farm Fall Festival
Nuckols Farm Elementary School was excited to bring back their annual Fall Festival for the 2022-2023 school year. This was a fun event for the families to enjoy. From rock climbing to cake walks, a silent auction and bounce houses, there were so many activities for the kids and kids at heart.. Many families dropped by the Patient First table to pick up some goodies, and our very own physician assistant from the Midlothian center was in attendance with her daughter. As a community partner, Patient First was delighted to attend this event to promote health and wellness. We all enjoyed ourselves and look forward to joining the Nuckols Farm community next year!
